DID YOU EVER?

Did you ever just lay on the ground and look up at the sky while watching the clouds drift by? Wouldn't that be great if we could find the time to do just that! It sure seems so long ago when I did that as a child. Alone with just my thoughts in my own little world just floating away on the beautiful, soft clouds. Not knowing where they would take me, but being so relaxed that nothing mattered.

Now when I take that extra moment and peer upwards, it takes me back to those days of innocence. Nights filled with the Beaver and Ozzie and Harriet. On TV the mothers didn't work and were always well groomed in their dresses and pearls. It was a good time to watch the clouds. The word Terrorists were not even in my vocabulary. Chopping off heads happened only in scary movies. Flying into buildings was science fiction. After all, how could that possibly happen. What was troubling me back in those days seemed like the end of the world for me. This generation knows all too well how close the "end of the world" could really be.

So when you are rushed, and when your are stressed; look up. Take five minutes and just stare. Just think; Just dream. Call upon Jesus and when it is time to go home, He will give you tickets for the Cloud Express. It will be a non-stop flight to Paradise. God's mercy alone will be your ticket at no cost to you. Someone already paid for our expenses.

Just look up! What do you see? What is your dream? Pick your cloud and hop on before it passes you by.
